The Parrot / El Loro
The Parrot is a story about a parrot whose mother was taken from the wild. The Parrot, el Loro, was born in a cage and never knew what freedom felt like. But he recognized the shape and colors of parrots and the vocal calls they made as they flew overhead. It is a story of separation and confinement of animals deprived of their instinctual social bonds.
Ode to an Egg
An illustrated story, in stanzas of poetry, based upon the old nursery rhyme of "Humpty Dumpty", that follows the health of our beloved home, Earth. The illustrations are full page watercolors. And the rhyming poem is at once a bedtime tale and an exhortation to encourage environmental action and awareness, written with a satirical tongue.

And alongside them, lay some old tapes of the Italian language and albums of photographs that had been seen by few.
